Submission
Guidelines
Prospective authors are invited to submit full-length
papers by the submission deadline. The submission of a
paper implies that the paper is original and has not
been submitted under review or copyright protected by
the author if accepted.
Besides
papers in regular sessions, papers in special sessions
are also invited to provide forums for focused
discussions on new topics and innovative applications of
established approaches. A special session consists of at
least four related papers. Proposals for special
sessions including the session organizers, author names,
paper titles, abstracts, and brief statements on the
purposes of the sessions must be submitted to the
Conference Chair Kesheng Wang (kesheng.wang@ntnu.no)
by January 1, 2005.
All
papers should be submitted electronically via Online
Paper Submission System or to conference
secretariat via e-mail. The format of the initial
submissions must be PDF. The files of the final accepted
papers should be in either Word or Latex. Enquiries on
paper submissions can be addressed to the secretariat
via email (prolamat@department.shu.edu.cn)
or phone.
All
submitted papers will be refereed by experts in the
respective fields according to the criteria of
originality, significance, quality, and clarity. The
authors of accepted papers will have an opportunity to
revise their papers and take consideration of the
referees' comments and suggestions, before submitting
the final papers.
All accepted papers with paid registration will be
included in the Proceedings of PROLAMAT 2006, to be
published by Kluwer Academic Publishers as IFIP series
which is indexed by ISTP. Selected outstanding papers
will be published as Special Issues by several
well-known International Journals, for example,
International Journal of Intelligent Manufacturing,
international Journal of Computer in Industry etc. which
are indexed by both SCI and EI.The Editor-in-Chiefs of the journals
and the guest editors of the Special Issues will make
decisions based referees' comments and recommendations,
as well as quality and presentation of the papers.
Authors of selected papers will be asked to
substantially extend and revise their papers.
Production of camera-ready manuscript:
Each
paper should be limited in 6 pages. The pages exceeding
6 will be charged for extra fee. Included
on the
styles
page are links to the style files for Latex/Scientific
Workplace as well as templates for MSWord and
WordPerfect. These items are available in zip or tar
archives. Please consult the documentation files
included within each archive. If you have questions,

Kluwer suggests downloading
these instructions which explain the
required formatting. Use these instructions to manually
format your contribution so that it will match the
others in the volume.
Copy right
All
authors should sign an agreement of transferring the
copy right to Kluwer Academic Publishers using
Copyright transfer form
Presentation Modes
The
presentation mode of a paper can be oral or poster
depending on the preference of the authors and
arrangement of the organizers. The authors can indicate
their preferences on oral or poster presentation when
submitting papers.
